Ahmed Shalaby is the Chairman of the Board of Tatweer Misr Development, the professor of architectural engineering at the University of Cairo, and a great real estate expert who enjoys great prestige and respect in the Egyptian real estate development market.

Ahmed Shalaby has embarked on the implementation and supervision of many successful projects, adding to his great and prestigious academic background in university education and enhancing his professional reputation in the real estate industry market.

Ahmed Shalaby, CEO of Tatweer Misr Real Estate Company, has held many important positions that allowed him to own a great experience today while leading Tatweer Misr Real Estate Development Company, and the following is the most important of these positions he’s held in his career, which has given him a huge leap forward. 

• Ahmed Shalaby is CEO of Tatweer Misr Real Estate Development Company.

• Ahmed Shalaby is also Professor of Urban Development and Architecture at Cairo University Faculty of Engineering.

• Ahmed Shalaby was also a visiting professor at Cornell University in the United States.

• He also serves on the board of the International Small Business Council.

• Ahmed Shalaby is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Investment Division of the Chamber of Commerce.

Biography of Ahmed Shalaby:

Mr. Ahmed Shalaby experienced many of the professional positions he worked in, which contributed to the formation of the vast professional experience he currently holds. Some of the most prominent of these occupations experienced by engineer Ahmed Shalaby include:

• Engineer Ahmed Shalaby served as a technical advisor to the CEO of Al Mustakbal Urban Development Company from the year 2013 to 2014.

• Ahmed Shalaby served as Technical Advisor to the Minister for Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities in 2013.

• From 2006 until 2012 he was Senior Vice President of Real Estate Division of Al Fawares Holding Company.

• Ahmed Shalaby also served as Deputy General Manager of Dar Al Lotus Engineering and Project Management Company from 1997 to 2006.

• Between the years 1993 and 1997 he also worked as General Manager of Al-Dar Company in Egypt.

• Engineer Baher Ayoub

Eng. Baher Ayoub has more than 20 years of experience in architecture and interior design, and consulting experience in contracting. Ayoub occupies the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer for Projects, and a member of the Board of Directors of Tatweer Misr.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Cairo University, and before joining the management of Tatweer Misr, he worked as Director of the Development and Engineering Department of Al Fawares Holding Company.

• Mr. Mohammed Dawood

Dawood has more than 30 years of experience in engineering, construction and business management. He holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tatweer Misr. He worked for many years as the head of one of the largest industrial and mechanical engineering conglomerates in Egypt.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Cairo University, his longitudinal experience is reflected in Tatweer Misr’s distinctive projects.

• Engineer Ashraf Arafa

He is one of the most prominent businessmen in Egypt. He holds a Bachelor degree in Science Civil Engineering from Ain Shams University. He occupies the position of Non-Executive Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tatweer Misr, and he is the President and Deputy General Manager of the Textile Portfolio of Arafa Group.

• Mr. Sameer Aref

Aref has extensive experience in the real estate field. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Tatweer Misr, and an expert in the fields of finance, investment and real estate management. He is the founder and shareholder of Al Asher Development and Real Estate Investment Company. He is also the Chairman of the Al-Ahram Security Group, and also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Green Valley.

• Mr. Mohamed Zeytoun

Zeytoun is considered one of the leading names in business field in Egypt. He is an expert in the textiles, tourism and real estate investment sectors. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Tatweer Misr, and he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and a major shareholder in Apel Tex, in addition to being the Chairman and Board Member of True Tex.

• Engineer Ahmed Dawood

He is a leading businessman and a member of the Board of Directors of Tatweer Misr Company, and the general manager of the multifaceted engineering group Ahmed Dawood and his Partners. He has many years of experience that was reflected in his work in Tatweer Misr Company, and he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Business Administration from the University of Greenwich in the United Kingdom in 2006.
